Nope, it will rise over time. There are very few times that you should ever raise pH chemically.

But won't pH decrease considerably with a dry stabilizer addition?

Do you have Pool Math? Use effects of adding.

If you add 30ppm of CYA your pH will lower by .5...Any pH in the 7s is just fine, and it will rise over time.

I do and see that my addition will drop my pH by 0.4

Use the 10 ml sample so each drop is 0.5 FC. Saves time and reagents.
