Greetings, first time posting and just tested the salt water with my test kit. Instructions were straightforward. That surprised me. 5 stars there. A little unclear in my chicken or the egg dept.
Cc 3.5 ppm
FCC 3.5 ppm
Tc 7.0 ppm
Ch 250 ppm
TA 40
PH 7.6
CYA could still see dot
*started stabilizer in sock in skimmer basket and dialed down swg to 10 percent.

Hi, how does your water look? Is it cloudy or is there algae? Your combined chlorine is high enough to indicate a need for the SLAM Process

What all have you put in the pool besides chlorine and CYA? Any nonchlorine shocks or pool store products??

Water is crystal. Ph was super high so just a lot of muriatic acid to bring it down to what it is. Never had algae problem. No pool store products or algae since converting to swg 9 mos ago.

You tested a CC of 3.5ppm. That would make your pool water stink of chlorine. Otherwise, I would redo the FC / CC test.
