TF-100 readings and my SLAM process

Hahaha! Sometimes the 1/2 hour later test can also pinpoint an issue with estimated pool volumes. There is a way to measure your chlorine strength before using it which can then be used with PoolMath to get a pretty accurate pool volume. I can't remember the dilution ratios, but if I find it, I will send it along. You may find that after the slam is over, you will be bored with all your free-time and need some pool-love!

I found the thread. I am down to my last gallon and a 1/4 of the 10% from day 132 of 2014. I will be going to get some 2015 8.25% tomorrow. Have lots to do unfortunately.

Yea I was thinking the same thing. What is Lisa going to do here next week when this is over?
I will be writing a testimonial about how the TFP methotrexate works if done properly and playing catch up on my horse pen and barn...lol

She is going to jump in and help others going through what she just did and be a WONDERFUL example of how to do a SLAM the correct way!

Kim

That is correct Kim! I will reassure people that if they have patience and follow the TFP method exactly how they are supposed to their pool can also look this good.

Sounds like you nailed that one on being 6%....nice job! :goodjob:

I'm just hoping you don't run out of reagent...better order up some more unless you stocked up plenty of :testkit:

I ordered just got 2 more bottles. I don't plan on having to go through it as fast ever again!

Be sure to do the 1/2 hour testing after additions when doing the OCLT. I think this is where many people go wrong. You need to know you exact FC readings after dusk to pre-sun morning test.

Thank you. I do my last add around 6 pm if needed. Then check FC at 8pm do not add anything as it has been at or above shock level the past 3/4 nights. I need to be up at 5am to beat the sun. Is this correct?
