TF-100 readings and my SLAM process

It rose 2 psi in 3 hours. I am at gymnastics right now with my daughter and won't be home until around 8:45pm. I will have hubby take pic of the Guage and text it to me.

Hubby sent me a pic. It has not moved since I left at 4:30 pm

Great. When you do have to backwash, remember DE will backwash out and you will need to re-add. I use DE all season long because of the improved clarity.

Now that you you know how much to add, it's easier. If you want to make double sure, you can re-do the initial 1/8, wait, check, 1/8, wait, check. I am a little OCD and did the initial test twice myself.

That is how I did it. 1/8 cup wait 2/3mins then 1/8 cup wait and it rose.
I did not backwash earlier, but I did as soon as I got home pressure dropped. Hoping to add more DE tomorrow after my daughters First Communion. Don't want to add any tonight with going to bed.

Sorry I slacked off on posting today. It was a busy day. This is my daughter carrying the gifts forward during her First Hole Communion.

I put DE in and backwashed twice. Cleaned the skimmer and brushe the pool. Tested this morning and I was above shock level. Dumped some 10% in around noon and will test later. Pool is clearer than this morning. I will try to get a pic tomorrow at some point.
