During the last update we’ve setup some new features that were slowly starting to test. The first of these, Push Notifications are now available for testing! Stay on top of the latest pool care advice and vibrant community discussions with real-time notifications.
Here’s How to Enable Push Notifications:
For Android Device Users:
1. On the forum, simply select “Enable Notifications.”
2. That’s it! You’ll start receiving updates instantly.
For iOS Device Users:
1. Open Safari and navigate to the Trouble Free Pool forum’s website.
2. Tap the ‘Share’ icon (a square with an arrow pointing up) at the bottom of the screen.
3. Scroll and select ‘Add to Home Screen.’
4. Name the PWA (e.g., Trouble Free Pool) and tap ‘Add.’
5. Launch the newly created PWA from your Home Screen.
6. Log in with your forum credentials.
7. In the PWA, navigate to settings or notification preferences, and enable push notifications.
8. Customize your preferences to receive notifications that matter most to you.
This new feature we’re testing will keep you connected and informed, whether you’re on the go or just lounging by the pool. We’re interested in hearing some feedback as we test these over the Winter months.
