Hi everyone, sorry I've been offline for a while! Been looking after the family, as everyone has been saying repeatedly for the last couple months here in Aus 'unprecedented times' and all that. Hope everyone is safe and well. I didn't get any notification about my username being linked in the thread either, so I'll double check my account settings now. The Labs are definitely open - sorry for any confusion but check the site and it's all up and running full steam ahead and better than ever in my completely 100% biased opinion
Mooseau I am sorry the tests aren't doing what you want them to. Without going into the backend setup of the business, I'm confident our test reagents you've mentioned for Ph and CYA are identical in chemical nature to the Taylor reagents from OS. If the CH reagents total composition differs from Taylors it's because ours are manufactured to specific Australian standards. There's a few risk points for the kits once they leave the labs, Aus Post leaving them in a sunny warehouse being the main one I'm always worried about. I'm scientifically curious about why your results are out, but with two tests reaching you and both performing way too high, I can't think of anything causing it. I'd drive to Sydney to mess about in your pool but I think my wife and the QLD border cops might both get grumpy at me LOL. I'm making the assumption you don't have any magnesium in the pool, you sound like you'd definitely have ruled that out. Oh boy, the amount of magnesium related questions I get from potential customers each week. Sorry, I've just pushed my own magnesium button so I need to lie down from this stress headache ??
AussieTA if you don't mind could I ask if you've had a full kit ship from OS since October 2019 (in thread or PM is ok). The only reason I ask is because there's a change in Taylor chemistry which I've been alerted to, which meant some Taylor kits were less likely to be shipped out of the US. I would love to know if anyone has actually experienced this yet, or if it's just my supplier trying to fudge some numbers at me. Wheels within wheels with some of these guys.
