I opened the pool yesterday and put in 10 gallons of bleach 6% Sodium Hypochlorite, but when testing the water sample the next day, it does not show any FC, sample did not turn pink after I added 2 dippers of R-0870. i then took a cup of water half mixed with the same bleach and it also did not turn pink when I tested. Any ideas?

How old was the bleach? Though, depending on the condition of the pool water, it might have consumed that FC add of 19ppm overnight.

In the first instance you had zero chlorine.
In the second instance you created a sample that was 30,000 ppm, so it bleached out your test.

Add the powder. If it doesn't turn pink, that means zero FC. Then add the R-003 and see if it goes pink. You might be turning all that FC into CC. If so, you want to know before you dump another thirty bucks worth of bleach in.
