Temporarily draining pool 1’

Hi-
Ill need to lower the water level of my pool to work on some plumbing fixtures that extends from my tiles. It may need to be lowered for a couple of days.
Are there consequences that I need to be concerned about when lowering the water level?

With a high ground water table, or a flash flood, the pool shell may become a boat which floats, instead of a pool.

If you're comfortable your groundwater is below the level needed to drain, and the extended weather forecast says no big storms are coming, you'll be fine. (*YMMV if the weather people get it right. )
