Hi,

Just getting started here, I purchased the Taylor 2006 test kit and it has the Pool and Water Chemistry booklet and a multi colored chart with some test instructions. While reviewing it, on the DPD test, Item number 3 it says to Match color * Record as ppm free chlorine. My question is what color am I supposed to match it to? I don't see a color chart included to match it to? The only chart on the included tube with a color chart on it is for PH and the opposite tube with number for the CYA level. Am I missing a color chart maybe?

Thanks for any imput..

Tony

Welcome to the forum!
A Taylor K2006C test does not use a color matching test for FC. It uses the FAS-DPD test with R0870 powder and R0871 reagent. Check to see what kit you have.
I suggest you read ABC's of Pool Water Chemistry.

Do you have the newer test kit instructions like pictured? If so, you need to use the FAS-DPD instructions (the right side of the yellow area).
