Thinking of getting the speedstir, but wondering how it is to use in normal testing. How do you dump out the test contents without losing the magnetic stirrer? Also, with the magnetic stirrer taking up space in the tube, is the tube marked properly to take into account the volume of the stirrer? Is 10ml really 10ml, or less due to stirrer volume?

Convenient - makes testing more accurate and consistent.

Add water to correct marking first and then add the stirrer bar.

I just put my fingers over the end and drain the contents, then rinse the tube, stirrer bar and fingers.
Or you could use a small inexpensive strainer to catch the stirrer bar.

The Speedstir makes testing so much easier than manual swirling. I strongly recommend it.

If you really want to make your life easier, get a couple extra test tubes and magnetic stirrers. Then you won't have to rinse out the test tubes between tests. You can do FC/CC, CH, and TA and rinse the test tubes when you're all done.
