Swimout Cave In During Excavation

Hello. I am an owner/builder of a simple rectangle pool (15 x 32) that has a 7 ft sunshelf on the shallow end and a 2 x 5 swimout on one side of the deep end which is 6 ft deep. During excavation the were digging the swimout and the ground caved in so now I have a big wash out where the swimout should go. The put in the rebar but my question is what advice do you have for making this secure from the bottom up? Can my gunite guys just fill it from the ground up with gunite to the bottom of the swimout or is that to heavy for the sides of the pool it is attaching? THANKS!!

Sorry to hear about the wash out but it can be fixed. A picture of the area will give us a better idea of what you are working with.

Looks like a non issue to me. Just going to have thicker gunite there. I had a LOT of washout due to a really heavy rain the day prior to them shooting gunite in my pool. My back wall is just extra thick because of it.
