Finally consistently warm, trending towards hot here in SE Michigan. Looks like the worst of the cottonwoods are over. I had to replace a pump motor, then a cracked impeller. But even with that, TFP methods, skimmer sock filtering out the cottonwood seeds, and the robot vacuum, the lsat month since opening has been a breeze.
We did have some friends over on Memorial Day, though they complained the water was too cold (76, I found it refreshing!). Now the water is crystal clear (thanks TFP) and with the 80s and 90s ahead, the pool is going to get a lot of usage!
I always forget that first year I had the pool, the nightmares and constantly chasing the water balance (guess strips suck!). Once I found TFP I went from hating my pool to loving it! I know I've said that before, but it bears repeating.
