Swimming during SLAM

I've read it's ok to swim during the SLAM but I'd just like to verify that my pool is safe since I have young children.

FC- 17.5
CC- 1.5
PH- 7.4
TA- 50
CH- 330
CYA- 40

The water is clear with some visible algae spots I need to brush from in the pool.

You can safely swim in a pool as long as the FC is above the minimum and at or below SLAM level based on your CYA. You must also be able to see the bottom of the pool in the deep end of the pool.

Your FC is a bit above SLAM level for your CYA of 40. But an hour or two of sunshine on the pool should take care of that.
Brush the pool well to get the algae exposed to the chlorine.

The CC may be irritating to their eyes. Also the pH test is not valid with FC above 10 ppm.
