Hi everyone,
I read many threads in here on antifreeze and pools, but cant find any regarding swim spas.
I have a 13' long Barefoot swim spa. I cleaned all the surfaces but am unsure how to remove the antifreeze from the swim spa. I know how to do it with a pool, but are there differences here?
There is no waste option on the swim spa. I do have a garden spigot inside the enclosure at the lowest point of the spa meant to drain the lines. Out of curiosity I turned on my garden hose and pushed it into to one of the four waterfalls (two on each side). Blue antifreeze came out of several jets, but not as much as was put in last winter.

If I were to suck it out, do I have to tape up (plug up) every jet in order to create stronger suction and go jet to jet with my shop vac to suck it out? Can you do damage to the internal parts (pumps, ozone machine, etc) by either sucking/blowing air into the system?
I was thinking as a last resort to fill the spa full with water and then drain it all out thinking that would dilute and remove the majority of the antifreeze but have no clue if thats even a thing to do.
Thank you.
