Hi,
Our pool and spa construction project is almost complete. This is our first pool. We just got the mechanicals turned on this past Friday. I have a TFP-100 test kit on the way... should be here Wednesday.
Our pool is a totally separate body of water from our spa, with completely independent mechanicals with the exception of the Hayward Omnilogic. We have a Hayward T-CELL-15 for the pool, and initially the pool guy installed the same SWG for the spa, but replaced it the next day with a tablet chlorinator, stating it was a mistake for his tech to install the spa T-CELL-15 since it was too large for our 850 gallon spa... and Hayward doesn't make a small enough SWG to meet our needs.
Through a water chemistry thread I started, mknauss educated me that this current configuration of using a tablet chlorinator will be a maintenance headache since CYA will be constantly added to the spa.
My question... what SWG would you recommend for a 850 gallon fiberglass spa?
My understanding is our Omnilogic can only communicate with one SWG... so the spa SWG will need to be independent. Please keep that in mind if it makes a difference.
Thanks again for this great site. I'm already leaning a lot. Can't wait to get our water tested and balanced.
Jason
