SWG reading vs salt test strips

Hi All
My salt water generator is reading salt levels at 2900-3100 consistently. However, salt test strips are only reporting salt levels of around 2400. Thoughts on what’s more accurate?

Drops testing (K-1766) will always be more reliable that the SWG or strips. That said, as long as your true saline level isn't extremely high (or low) and the SWG is happy and working fine, no worries.

Strips can be off by 500ppm +/-
The k1766 by 200ppm +/-
The cell salinty reading will likely never match the actual salinity level in the pool exactly . They are simply measured differently.
The closest the unit will ever be to actual salinity is when the cell is new and it will go down over time .
As Pat said- if the cell is happily producing & you’re measurements are fairly close you’re good to go.
