SWG on Waterfalls?

I built a house with a pool about 18 months ago. Since we moved in, I decided to add a Circupool core-35 swg.

Unfortunately, the builder placed the pool equipment immediately on the property line, and the plumbing was run in my neighbors yard. As a result, the pool company had to come out and relocate the plumbing. When they did that, they reworked plumbing at the pad, and didn’t plumb my SWG back in. I had them come back out and add it back, and they added it back on the waterfall pump, whereas before it was on the line to the pool returns.

How big an issue is it for the swg to go to the waterfalls instead of the pool returns?

Just,

Well, that is just stupid...

Your SWCG won't work unless you run the waterfall all the time, it just does not make sense.

Do you run the waterfall any time the main pool pump is on?

Pics of your equipment pad would be helpful...

Thanks,

Jim R.

Seems the PB will have to come out again and actually plumb the SWG correctly.

Show us picks of the equipment pad froma few different anges so we can see what you have.

My first reaction to this is - NOPE, NO WAY, NAH-AH! Call them back and tell them to do it properly. In fact, call the OWNER of the pool business and tell HIM to do it properly.

You shouldn't have to wonder if your chemistry is going to be correct because some idiot couldn't take 10mins to sit and do the job right. Their screwup does not mean you have to find a work-around solution. Tell them to fix it.

My second reaction after calming down and thinking about it .... same as my first reaction.
