SWG Omni PL System New Install Upgraded from Pro Logic PS8 Last Week

Hello, I’m hoping someone can give me some feedback. Last week I had my local builder come out and upgrade my Prologic PS8 system to the Omni Logic PL system. When I was on the Prologic system I never had an issue with my SWG reading of Ppm. Ever since the installation it’s showing my levels at 4,100 PPM’s. So this morning I dropped by the local builders office and took a sample of my water to them they tested it and it was at 3100. She spun it and now they are all baffled. Any ideas of why the new OMNI PL is showing so high. The pool builder who has a service company that did the installation says it’s because of the cold weather and to wait into it warms back up to get an accurate reading. It’s been installed since Thursday of last week. Any ideas? Should I Call Hayward? Please let me know. Happy Holidays!

Greg

Check the cell type set in the OmniPL configuration against the actual cell type.

Show us pictures of the label on your SWG cell.

Here you go it’s set up T-15. Here is a picture of the SWG. The builder Blue Haven also has a service shop the AQUA Shop I asked that same question this morning and although you can tell because the chlorinator has the label on it “Blue Haven” they say it’s a T-15. Please see attached.

James,

Thanks for the reply. I was on the phone with Hayward and the problem is that they can't tell me based off of the serial number on the chlorinator what size cell this component is. They are supposed to get back to me on Thursday. The OMNI Logic is set for a T-15. More to follow. Weird. I've tried looking up the cell serial number and no luck. It has a Blue Haven sticker so not sure if it's their product on a Hayward product. Just my luck. Geez.

Hayward manufactures Blue Haven equipment that Blue Haven labels and sells. Blue Haven supports and warranties their equipment. They will not be recognized as Hayward.

Show us the OmniPL diagnostic screen showing the volts and amps when the cell is generating.
