SWG connector broke

Hi all,

I was removing my SWG to clean it out and the pvc ring that connects it to the pipes snapped. Is this an easy fix or due to the lip on the pvc pipe is this a big project?

I've attached some pictures of the broken one and the other side which is fine.

My hot tub has the unions JamesW is showing on the heater. They work just fine. Came with them from the factory.
