suspended particulate matter

My pool chemistry is near perfect. However, at night with the lights on I notice considerable suspended particulate matter. Is this normal? These are not air bubbles. I have a picture but do not know how to attach it. Your thoughts are appreciated.

Could be your filter runtime, or a faulty filter (not trapping that fine stuff), or both...

Filter runtime (how long) is determined by a handful of things, one of which is your preference. If your water is not clear enough for your liking, then you up the runtime until it is.

How old are your cartridges? They don't last forever...
