Hi all! I’ve potentially lost yet another board due to a strong thunderstorm last night. Definitely some electrical burn near power output. What is the best way to protect against this? I have a GFI circuit breaker but not sure if that protects against everything? It definitely didn’t protect against this. Thoughts?

GFCI does not protect against surges.
Google "Whole Home Surge Protection". Fairly cheap considering the the hassle of repairing your board.
They make devices small enough that can be place directly inside your Haward control box. See attached.
