Super fine sediment in pool.

Please help!
We recently had a pool installed and have been diligently maintaining it, including cleaning the filters and running the Dolphin daily. Despite this, we cannot seem to remove the fine sediment that settles at the bottom. When I attempt to clean it manually, it just disperses into a cloud. What can I do to effectively remove this fine powder from the pool?

Darn, I don't have the #’s. We have a company that maintains the pool's chemistry, ensuring everything is balanced, though I don’t know the exact numbers. They check it weekly.

The pool is inground, holds 15,400 gallons, and uses a cartridge filter.

The sediment is a light gray, almost white, and after the Dolphin cleaner runs, it collects material that is sand-like but much finer—essentially, it's like dust.

I wish it was algae, however we have shocked the pool twice thinking that was what it was. We also had another company come out to just take a look at the water and he ran a test and said everything looks fine other than what looks to be powder in the pool.

I’m truly at a loss.

I did read the other thread on this topic. I will try to look for some more information on here as well.

Hey @wireform, thanks for your unsolicited two cents on letting me know that I am wasting my money on a pool company. I realize you know all the details of why we did. Thanks though ;)
PS I'm a chick and no need to be rude. I'm here asking for help.
 
You are getting help but I don't think you like the advice. :) Everything we do here about pool chemistry revolves around precise testing.

You and the first gentleman are being very helpful. I meant to only reply the the 3rd guy who was being rude.
So I’ve done some troubleshooting on the possibility of it being dead algae. If it is algae, I do believe I have an understanding of what to do next.
I just pulling my dolphin for the evening and I pulled out some of the Crud it collects. I put it on my hand and spread it out a bit. Thought maybe this image might be helpful?
It’s a mixture of rock and a fine white powder (which is what I think you and the first guy said was dead algae).
I very much appreciate the helpful feedback!

One more thing of note just to be polite, you haven't filled in your signature as you see what I have below a list of all and everything my pool has equipment wise. Use the link in my signature to get started as we have no idea on what runs your pool and it'll cut down the back and forth questions.
