Reviving an old thread:

We are considering SunDek and Encore Cool! for our small (250 sq. ft.) 20 year old concrete deck. Two very different products, of course. There are several large but stable cracks that would need to be repaired, and a somewhat ragged edge where the deck was cut with a concrete saw when the coping was replaced. The coating will end up very thin on the edges where it will have to be faired into the level of the coping.
We would appreciate hearing about your experiences with SunDek, both over time and as an upgrade to existing concrete. I'm especially interested in what happened when the coating had to be made very thin to match the level of an adjacent surface.
Thanks!
Sundeck, who has it and what are your thoughts?
We did concrete decking but it's a bit slippery, and I think this sundeck would give me the uniform color I want and not be slippery. thanks!
