Suggestions on pump, filter and heater for plunge pool

Starting new on 5k gallon plunge pool. Has 3 jets and one skimmer no main drain. Level of system is below water level but above jets. I have owned an above ground pool before but I am very green to most of this. Trying to figure out pump, filter and heater to use. Suggestions please?

I have been looking at:

Raypak crosswind 30-1 heat pump
Chlorworks 1hp variable speed pump

How do you plan to chlorinate?
I assume you do not want any form of pool automation?
A small VS pump, med sized cartridge filter, and a heat pump should work in your environment.

I would like to stay pretty simple. But do intend on VS pump i can set on timer. I was looking at chlorine feeders but I guess it's not necessary for such a small pool?

Also do I need valves if all I have is a pump, cartridge filter and heater. I have read I need the a check valve between heat pump and chlorine filter but not sure otherwise.

When I had the above ground pool it was just (one way in-one way out) pump and filter with no valves.
