It is common for algae to break into pieces or clouds of dust when disturbed. Algae. regardless of the variety, is a product of improper water chemistry. Typically the free chlorine level was allowed to fall too low and/or the stabilizer (CYA) level got too high. To kill and remove algae we follow the
