Hi Everyone,

I had a large tree branch come down, and the force of impact broke some parts of the pool and caused the top of the aluminum side wall to bend in.

I'm looking for some suggestions on how to bend it back into shape.

I was thinking of getting some pieces of 2x4 and some c-lamps and squeezing it straight as an idea, but I'm curious as to what others have done.

Thanks in advance!

If this were my pool, I'd try to get large clamps on that n see I could muscle it back into some sort of shape to accept the stabilizer bars again. It's not going to be perfect but I'd try to get it there without taking the whole pool down n beat it out. Try to sandwich the pool wall with 2 cut pieces of wood and the large c clamps. I'd try that in several places n see if you can get it to straighten up. You might want to drain some water down n go behind the liner with the wood so you don't damage the liner. Start a the deck n move to the right.

I'm assuming that piece of top rail is broken, a d maybe a connector going to the next piece. Is the top ledge salvageable?salvageable? I think the bead receiver too. Can you get these parts?

Thanks for the advice I'll give that a try. Yes, the top rail (resin top connector) and the resin track cracked. The top seat is still intact. I was able to get the replacement parts ordered from the manufacturer in Canada, and looks like they'll get here just in time before the weekend!
