How are we supposed to store the DE cartridge filter. I have the following DE filter (or similar), and the pool guy typically stores the cartridge within it for the winter after cleaning. This year he took it out cleaned and suggested to store it inside. I'm now confused as to what the right process is (we had it stored in the tank again as we did not have any space in the basement).
The pool guy seemed ambivalent on what is better, he was like storing it inside is better but it doesn't matter if u store in the tank, and it was in the tank all of last winter.
