My understanding is you can pretty much store all chems except for MA in your garage. Most just put it outside. My understanding is the heat isn’t necessarily a problem but direct exposure to sunlight can be. I was planning on storing the MA on the side of the house and during winter we have low radiation here but in the midst of summer it will have 10+ hours of extreme direct sunlight. Some people throw them in a storage bin but not sure how that will affect anything. Alternatively we have a covered patio and I could mount a small shelf and put the bottles there. Any issues with metal corrosion while outside? Shelf mounting would be metal and the patio cover is as well.

This should help.

Unfortunately it really didn’t. I read that first. It even mentions no direct sunlight and around 95f. It’s regularly 110-115f in the Summer. If contents are stored in a locked container it could exceed 140f+ easily
If you are talking about muriatic acid sunlight and temperature does not effect it.

I store my muriatic acid in a black/yellow Costco tote, in my side yard. Year round. It gets a little sun, but like probably 80% shade because it's shoved up against a fence. It'll be fine.
