Still having trouble getting dust off bottom

No matter what I do I can't keep dust vacuumed up. I'm not sure if filter isn't catching it or if it's just new dust. Would DE help filter the dust? Im neurotic about bottom of pool being clean before we get in

Yes add some DE to raise the pressure 1 to 2 psi above clean pressure

I just do finished slam I'm pretty positive its just dust. I live on dirt road and they are building house behind me

I have the same dust issues. Can an automatic pool cleaner help with this? My pool only came with the vacuum that attaches to water hose.
