That, I expect, was a totally unique and hopefully isolated occurrence - brought on by my overzeaolusness in adding way too much stuff at once. Nothing like that has ever happened before last season. It was...a learning experience....but I wouldn't call it a deterrent. I know you would have drained the pool at that point, but I just didn't feel in a position to do that. It would have rendered pointless the idea of using Line Cleaner as being a potentially viable solution. The only way was to forge on through the fume/strong odor period (7/13 to 8/7) and then see where it went for the rest of the season. Water never seemed cleaner then it did from August 8 to the end. I'm intrigued to continue this periodical non-chlorine shock treatment experiment. Line Clean can go in tomorrow. I very honestly don't anticipate any problems this season. Just a gut feeling.
