Hi!
I finally picked our pool tiles. A grey ceramic tile for water edge and a glass tile for our little sheer decent. Pool builder asked if I want to put the grey tile in diamond pattern on steps but I think that might look outdated, not sure. I have seen people break up their glass tile and just put a strip of it on step. I could do that with the one I selected, but it would be 3inch, half a tile, since mosaic and 450 bucks. I was trying to find the tiles that are in this family, NPT Avalon series Seafoam but could not find on their site, I didn't see in their 2020 catalog. Any ideas? Does anyone know if they have the seafoam in this series in the smaller tiles? Do you think it would look good? Just trying to save on any penny!

@kimkats ooooo...that is pretty. I think worse case I can get the seafoam in 3 inch section but not sure about that. Would 3 inch be too big and look weird? Have you seen the seafoam Avalon series? I assume they have the smaller tiles and think safer if exact brand match. Maybe I need to look in prior NPT catalogs but could not find them.

@kimkats So I found out that NPT bought or meged with Artistry in Mosaics and it is NPT, but not on their site. Had to go to Artistry's site. So they have a few options which I happen to have taken a picture of at another time, so I think I should be able to find something.
But I have another question. How do I chose grout? PB said to match the grey waterline tile and there is a grey that is almost exact. But for the glass which is only on the sheer decent I think a lighter color would look better. What do people suggest on grout color? Here are some pictures. First two are Artistry in Mosaic and I think would work on steps but will look at in person.

On those tiles I would want white grout but I don’t know how that would work up against the grey tiles with grey grout. As for the step tiles, both are gorgeous. Just depends on which ones speak to you more.

I would go as light gray as they have as white will end up gray in the end and white is just too stark for that tile. If you keep it in the gray family it will look fine with the other darker grout.

So they like to make things hard to find but good on you for figuring it out! SCORE!

@kimkats So the one light color In picture is silver which was the lightest of the gray. So do you think best to just use the dark gray with the gray tiles and the light one only on the glass seafoam? Or light one everywhere? I am worried the light next to they greys would make it dated but really not sure.
