Startup watts Jandy 2.7 HP variable speed pump for generator

We are putting in a transfer switch to start our pool pump 2.7 hp Jandy variable speed. I found the running watts but can’t figure out the starting watts needed to get it going.

Anybody can help?

You should be able to set a "Priming" speed for the pump and a maximum speed for the pump.

What is the maximum speed limit you will set for the pump?

You will need to contact the manufacturer to determine the starting power and current for different speeds.

The drive can control the starting amperage by how it ramps up the speed from standstill.
