So you are saying the automation doesn't actually get you that much benefit? I get that...I cannot see a good reason to know my salt level from my phone 100 miles away lol. The main things I want to automate are the lights and pumps, features etc.

Sadly no I cannot get natural gas. I am a country bumpkin in rural Wisconsin. I live like a mile from town which means no cable, no good internet, no natural gas, no water etc etc. Plusses and minuses but I like it :)
 
Not with a SWG and really a VS pump.. once you set them 24/7 there really is not much to do.. now if you have waterfalls and heaters and need different RPM's for them then automation is a must... But really not at all for a SWG :)
