I just did another DIY Pool--but my first one with the Stair Inserts/Gaskets. I somehow managed to seat the bottom gasket 'one' slot down from where it should have been (so it is one screw pattern short on one end, and long on the other). Well, neeedless to say, my pool lost about 1" of water last night, so I'm guessing the Gasket didn't seat correctly. I plan on leak testing it tonight to see if I can find an obvious leak, but have a couple questions:

1. Can I draw the pool down to just at the break point (leaving no water in shallow end) and try to re-install that bottom gasket? I know I cannot let that sit for too long without support or the liner will stretch--but thinking I can get this re-installed in about a half hour. I figured by taking it off, I can take a quick look at any obvious holes--and then run bead of silicone before I reset the Gasket bead.
2. I REALLY don't want to order another liner--so let me know any additional ideas/tips to correct this!! That be about a $3k mistake between the Liner and Water, so I really don't want to have to do that lol

FYI--sides went in exactly where they should have, so I'm thinking it is only the bottom gasket that may be leaking. ANY help is appreciated!!!
