Good morning

I woke up to find one side of my pool stained by a seed that is falling off a tree a few feet away. I removed the seeds, now will likely need to trim this tree down a lot. It’s a not a full year we’re in the house so we discover new headaches as time passes, and this tree is one of the headaches.

Prior to finding TFP i would use shock to get rid of leaf stains, but i quickly learned not to use pool shock.

Is the best way to get rid of the stains is by slamming or is using a little powder shock okay. Here’s a pic of stains and the culprit

Take your FC up using liquid chlorine, and brush, brush, brush. That should work.

I'd only use the powder if you already had some, and your test levels show you can use it without going too high.
