Stains from BB's

Know this is a very old thread. Found it when I was searching “PoolRx”… in case anyone finds the same spots in their pool? I had several… From my teenage son shooting a Red Ryder BB gun in the backyard and some misfires / ricochet off a tree had BBs fall in my pool. Had a PoolRx blue basket thingy in my main pool pump basket from my old pool service- now removed.

But, broken in half vitamin C tablets gently placed on top of each spot (by same, said, teenage son) took them right off!

BB's are steel. So the spots were iron stains and thus the Vitamin C removed them.

Yep- found that handy-dandy little trick on this site! And guess who was swimming down to the bottom to place them in the deep end? Not me! (I did do the shallow end- placing them w my toes… while he did the other… I’m a good mom)
