Staining on new plaster

Hi All,

I just had my pool plastered with stonescapes mini. It has been a little over a week and I am developing a brown staining throughout the plaster that is spreading.

I filled the pool with city water and scrubbing as recommended

Currently the pool chemistry is

2 chlorine
7.2 PH
CYA 20
TA 60
CH 125

Any suggestions on how to fix?

Welcome to TFP! What has your builder had to say about it? Did they use a sequestrant at fill? Have you tried rubbing a spot with a Vitamin C tablet?

I will try vitamin c tonight thank you

No sequestrant was used when we filled the pool.

When I filled the pool, I did not slam it or shock it. I just brought up the chemicals to the right levels.

The pool company is sending out the plaster company to take a look.
