Stain from CYA Stabilizer

I have some staining from what I believe is from broadcasting CYA Stabilizer. I now know about the sock method. I read about using Vitamin C, and I tested that by placing the Vitamin C on the stain This seemed to work, but the tablet dissolved quickly. Are there other methods of applying the Vitamin C or something different that I should be using. Ignore the debris in the picture; this was taken right before I ran the dolphin.

Vitamin C will remove iron. Granular stabilizer allowed to sit on the pool floor can cause a bleaching effect and Vitamin C doesn't do anything for that. Are you on a well or is your city water known to have high iron content? Do any of your white plastic parts around the pool look dull or yellow?

No well water. I'm not sure if the city water is high in iron, but I can try to find out. None of the parts look dull or yellow.
