Posted in a few other areas in the forum just because I've had multiple issues but I'm finally about ready to SLAM my pool. To recap, flooded in February. Flood silt in the bottom of the pool. I have added enough CYA to get the water up to 30 ppm and have added pH down (no muriatic acid readily accessible yet) to get the pH down near 7.2. I have so much algae that I don't really want to filter right now. Would it be OK to run the SLAM process on recirculate so that I can kill the algae and then vacuum to waste the algae remains and the flood silt? I couldn't vacuum beforehand because I couldn't see the bottom to vacuum it.
