Splotchy Pool Plaster

I'm looking for help in solving my pool plaster issue. We had it built in Feb 2016, using Wet Edge Luna Quartz as the plaster. In the last few months, this splotchy-ness has developed. Someone from the PB looked at it and said they'd get back to me - that was a month ago. My chemistry has been balanced according to pool math. I did fight incredibly high calcium with high pH the first year and a half. The calcium got so high I had to drain and refill twice. PB said that was normal. Then about 4 months ago, the calcium stabilized but then those patches started. When I first got the pool, we used the swg, but now I'm using chlorine. Here are some pictures. Any thoughts?

Well, that's the receipe for scaling (which is generally coarser than the plaster finish). Probably got dirt/mineral deposits on it over time which is responsible for the blotchiness.

I'm surprised the pool builder didn't tell you about calcium leaching and increased pH during (and beyond) the initial plaster curing time. Did you add calcium chloride at startup (if you did, it probably wasn't necessary) and keep the pH neutral with muriatic acid?
