Spiral Wound vs blow molding

Hey Guys

When it comes to vacuum hoses there are two different types of them:

1-Spiral Wound
2-blow molding

Does anybody know what the difference between these two are?

Blow molded are generally cheaper in cost and construction. Spiral wound have greater crush resistance, generally better external friction protection, if they have a smooth inner wall, they will have lower flow resistance, and higher end are also more UV resistant. You will likely find that the spiral wound are more flexible.
