Hi everyone
You guys have been such a big help
I need your help again.
My pool has an attached spa. Every time I run my itelliflo VS pump my spa rises and flows into my pool. This is causing my ph to rise. I control my pump through easy touch. How can I program my easy touch to run my pump without water flowing from spa into pool.
Please help!!!!

Jason,

I would start by looking at your automated Intake and Return valves..

In the Pool Mode, the Intake valve should fully rotate so that all the water is coming from the Pool and nothing is coming from the Spa... The Return valve should fully rotate so that all the water is being returned to the Pool and none is being routed back to the Spa.

In the Spa mode, both valves should turn so that all the water is being sucked from the Spa and all the water should be returned to the Spa.

I suspect that you will find that your pool builder has, on purpose, misadjusted your Return valve so that it always forces some water to go to your Spa.

Go out and see how your valves are working and report back. If you take some pictures, tomorrow in the sunlight, I'm sure we can get this fixed...

Thanks

Jim R.

In the picture of my whole set up- when I turn the pump on my actuators stay in those positions
When I turn to spa mode the actuators rotate to spa. When my spa is on water does not come in from pool. So I guess that means the valve to the pool is completely closed. When I’m in pool mode I’m guessing the actuators are not completely closed to the spa causing water flow from spa to pool causing aeration causing ph rise. What a domino affect. Am I on the right track!!!! Any ideas???
