Spillway does not turn on manually or automatically

The spillway is scheduled to come on twice a day. For some reason it stopped. The issue may have started after the latest Pentair App update. The pool and cleaner still comes on as scheduled. Presently, the spillway does not function properly with either manual or scheduled operation.

The symptoms are when the spillway is turned on, the spillway does not start but both the App and the IntelliCenter indicate the spillway is on.

We found that when the pool is on - the spillway can be turned on and the spillway does not come on. But by turning on the jets, we can observe the valve actuating and the water being diverted to the spa. Then by turning the spillway off and turning on the jets again, you can observe the valve actuating and the spillway goes off. This test gives the impression that turning the spillway on or off does not affect valve operation. It appears to relate to valve control. it does not appear that this is something the home user has control of.

If you updated your IntelliCenter to 2.006 Pentair has pulled the 2.006 update and recommends reverting back to your prior version. It just takes a few clicks. See Pentair Automation Systems - Further Reading for step by step instructions.
