Speakers around pool

Hello,

Is it safe to put outdoor speakers 3’ from the waters edge? Do they need to be bonded?

Yes and no... If they are within 3 feet and you are able to grab them or touch them then yes.. if they are 9 feet above the pool and secured to something and they are no able to fall into the pool and not able to be touched then no..

We have installed 100’s of speakers around pools. Ours are always 5 or more feet from the pool. Sometimes more. We have never bonded anything. They r low volt. My array speakers are 4 feet from my coping.
