Spanish Pool

Hi everyone I am new to this site and indeed swimming pools in general.
I have a sand filtered underground pool which desperately needs emptying.
I have a pool house which houses all the pool valves/hoses/levers,I know the multi position lever which has waste has to be selected, I then have 5 other levers all in spanish which i have obviously translated, I believe these should all be closed, FONDO (background) limpia fondo (background cleaning) for pool sweeping. Impulsion (not sure on this) skimmer and Desague (drain) which should be open, so my question is should all levers be closed with multivalve on waste/drain, sorry for long thread !

Your best option is a submersible pump. Trying to drain a pool using the filtration equipment can cause damage to the pump if one is not careful.
