Good evening. We had two fairly quick power outages tonight. When the power came in the spa came on with the blowers making all kinds of noise. It was well after my pool shuts down for the night.

ScreenLogic app not responsive and did not show that the spa was even on. My normal schedules were on there.

I turned the breakers off to the pool and will deal with it in the morning. Any idea what might have happened? TIA

I went out and shut off the electric

I went out and flipped the switches back on and hit reset. All is back to normal.
I found an old thread after posting this that said the same thing happened to them. Would it have anything to do with my pump program that is set for backup if easytouch fails?
The old thread someone mentioned turning off the breaker to the blowers.
Would that be marked “pool blowers” or will that turn off all my returns to the pool? TIA

"Pool Blowers" would have nothing to do with the return water to the pool.

How many "Air Blowers" do you have? I assume they are for your spa.

Thanks,

Jim R.
New pool owner here.
I have 6 spa returns that blow air when turned on.
Please let me know if I’m using the wrong names! 😂
On my panel one is labeled “pool blower” on the smart panel there is a label called “air blower2” - they must have lost the “air blower 1” label, 😂

One pump, one pool and 1 spa.

Thanks,
Kathy

As to what happened, the brief power outages cause the microprocessor that runs your automation to crash (instead of cleanly restart which is what should have happened). Back in the day when I designed embedded systems I recall it it was very difficult to build power/reset circuits that could handle these sort of cases with 100% reliability.
Glad it came back to normal when you reset the power.

So it needs to be restarted at the panel and I would need to be home?

Kathy,

I suspect that you only have one blower that adds air to your Spa jets when running.

I don't see it in your pics, but it does not really matter.

You have a great looking set up!!! Very nice. :goodjob:

In most cases the EasyTouch will just fire right back up after a power interruption. Unless you are just unlucky, you will most likely never have that problem again.

Thanks,

Jim R.

Thank you.
We love it, unfortunately, IMO, The pool build has had issues since the day the pool was filled.
IMO, the building contractor did a great job! No problems with that!
