Spa leak - hallow sound

Ive been chasing a spa leak for a month. I have a crack in the bench and thought that was the issue. As I was using dye to test the crack I noticed that there’s an area about 11” from the crack that has a hallow sound when I tap on it. I’m going to see if this is the cause of the leak.

I looked at my pool / spa contract and it states ”structure guaranteed for life”. If this is a gunite issue, is it considered structural?

No. The hollow sound would be delaminated plaster.

Thanks. Is this something normal covered under warranty?

Depends on the contract. I would say if over a year old, probably not.
