Hi, I'm new to the forum and seeking help with issues with our Jandy 2hp blower and spa jets. Our spa is connected to our pool with a spill over water fall. It has 6 jets with 3 settings...I assume one setting is air, one is water, and a third is air and water based on the pump and blower activations. Living in northern VA, we have a pool service completely close/shut down our pool/spa for the winter. Each year when the service opens our pool, we have problems getting our 6 jets spa to operate completely with all jets fulling working on all 3 settings. Usually we play around with combinations of settings and closing off one or more jets, etc, cycling through the settings, etc, and eventually after a day or two the spa /jets eventually work flawlessly for the rest of the summer...almost as though there is a vapor lock or something that works its way out of the system that allows the spa blower and jets to function correctly. Last year I replaced the blower with a Jandy Pro Series 2hp blower and it seemed to speed up the corrective process of fiddling with the jets and settings and the spa worked perfectly all summer. We had the pool/spa opened last week and we are again experiencing the same spa problem, however this year we have been unable to get it to work properly as in previous years. The spa partially works on one side on 2 settings and there is air and/or water flowing through all jets on all settings just not enough for the jets to fully work as normal. All six jets seem to work properly on the water pressure setting. Its just the air blower settings that we can't get working as usual this year. Additionally, the Jandy blower seems to be laboring and actually shut down while we were cycling through the setting, etc, presumably due to overheating, and then began working again once it cooled down. I was thinking of looking for a rental pool line blower, removing the Jandy blower, and trying to blow air through the blower line in hopes of clearing a possible vapor lock? Would this be recommended? Could this damage anything? Any additional suggestions? Looking for help. Thanks, Marty
