Was replacing the burned out motor on my SP2807X10, but it appears as though the rebuild kit that came with the motor is missing an impeller kit, and one apparently was not installed on the original pump assembly (pump was originally purchased along with the basket assembly). Do I need it? If so, which one is it?

looks like it is supposed to have 1 seal and 3 o rings.. what did your come with?

The parts diagram does not show an impeller ring.
Is there a specific reason that you were expecting it to have an impeller ring?

Was watching a video of someone reassembling the pump / basket holder. It's also mentioned as being preferable, but not required, for the purposes of reducing the pressure on the shaft, thereby potentially lengthening the life of the motor.
It did not come with an impeller ring and you cannot add one if it did not originally come with one.
I don't remember now. It may have been one of this web-based instruction pages with steps and an animated GIF in each step. Either way, you're probably right, so I'll just leave it alone for now.
