Love it all! That rock is very pretty!! The plants are so neat looking! Now talk to me about those man made rocks...........made out of what? Where do you find such a thing?

They are like a pre cast resin/concrete type thingy! They weigh next to nothing and look just like the real deal!

So where did you find them?? Those would be pretty in my yard!

A lot of the nursery's around here are starting to get them in. Not sure where they are getting them from.........

May 17th
Found some pedestal caps for the fire/water bowls. I was/am having a hard time finding a 24 x 24 x 2 travertine like cap for the pedestals.
Anyone have a source? @bdavis466
I am not sure i like these........
Also, I formed up my little "fake" umbrella holder in the sitting area. I have to make the inspectors happy! And that's all I can say about that right now.

Nothing a little Hydro couldn't fix!
Again, i will use this as my base for the piece of granite.

BROKE?? Oh my! What is funny is the piece did not break any more after it broke free! Wonder why it broke off like that?

Can you find a shop that does counter work or such to find some "scraps" that might work?

Guys are coming to prep the pool soon for the finish!!!!

May 23rd - Plaster Day!!!!!

I ended up sending them away. They were supposed to show up at 7 am - didn't get to the house until 2pm. I told the foreman to call the boss and tell him to have the crews at my house at 0700 the next day or he needs to be back at my house with my money. I was very blunt with him and told him I refuse to let him shoot this pool in 90 degree weather - FULL SUN - because he got greedy and took a small job before mine!
This is not a cheap product..... and I flat out refused to let him shoot.
Needless to say - we were at a cross road. He told me if i cancelled, it might be a week before I could be back on the books. I told him it would take me 20 minutes to cancel my check I wrote him!

And they brought two crews...........Lol..............looked pretty comical.

They did an outstanding job!
They finish we finally decided on was the Pebble Tec Brillance - Clearwater

They actually used 3 bags of shimmering sea. I was amazed at how thick they finally built the product up to. And shocked to see how time consuming this was. I think they left the house at around 2pm.

Once you get the new sod put down you wont even recognize the back yard! And it will make you forget about all that mud youve been dealing with!

Good for you!! I bet he did not know what hit him when you called him! Then to tell you it would set your back a week??? Yeah he was trying to "bully" you into letting them do the work then! NOT going to happen!!!

It looks SO pretty!!! I can't wait to see it with water in it!

When you go to add the water do NOT turn it off!!! If you stop the flow of water it may cause a ring in the pretty, new plaster! Sure do NOT want that to happen!!!
